- Since December 2008 BioWanze operates a plant in Wanze/Belgium producing bioethanol, ProtiWanze® (protein animal feed) and gluten
- Innovative production process: Through the use of biomass as primary energy source instead of fossil fuel 70 % Co2 will be saved
- Raw materials: wheat and sugar syrup
- Annual capacity:
- up to 300,000 m³ bioethanol
- More than 200,000 t ProtiWanze®
- about 55,000 t gluten
