The Federal Cartel Office of Germany ...

The Federal Cartel Office of Germany searched the offices of Südzucker AG and other German sugar companies on the 26th of March 2009. In particular questions, which have to be seen in context with the reform and the implementation of the new sugar market regulation, were the reason for the enquiries of the Federal Cartel Office. Südzucker is interested in the clarification of the whole matter and is cooperating with the authorities. Südzucker does not assume that from the initial suspicion of the Federal Cartel Office any consequences for the company arise.
