Südzucker sets course for the future

In January 2008 Dr. Theo Spettmann, Spokesman of the Executive Board, did announce to retire on conclusion of the annual general meeting 2009 - at the age of 65. The Supervisory Board therefore arranged his succession at its meeting on 27 November 2008. Accordingly Dr. Wolfgang Heer, who is member of the Südzucker Executive Board since 1 March 2008, is going to take over the positions spokesman and industrial relations director as well as the remaining areas of responsibility from Dr. Spettmann. The responsibility for sugar sales was already handed over from Dr. Spettmann to Dr. Heer on 1 March 2008.
